The Position

As the Program Staffing and Training Assistant, you are a key part of the Rustic Pathways Program Leader hiring experience. You will work closely with the Program Staffing Coordinator and Director of Staffing and Training to assist with the management of our applicant tracking system and learning management system. You will screen candidates, comb the system to fix any data imperfections, and contribute to the improvement of our applicant experience for seasonal positions. Additionally, you will have a key role in ensuring compliance of  online training for all program leaders. This position reports directly to the Program Staffing Coordinator.  

 

This is a temporary remote position from October 1, 2017- June 29, 2018.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Screen and assess applications using Rustic Pathways' standardized tools and evaluative metrics
  • Communicate with the Program Staffing Coordinator about exceptional applicants  
  • Communicate with candidates who don’t meet the qualifications for a seasonal position
  • Manage and clean up data in Jazz, our applicant tracking system, and Salesforce CRM
  • Send follow-up assessments to applicants and analyze results
  • Communicate with applicants regarding dates and availability
  • Assist in finding candidates that meet the staffing needs of each Rustic Pathways country of operation
  • Manage the process of assigning online training to all hired program leaders and ensure 100% compliance
  • Pull weekly reports and provide updates on program leaders’ online training progress
  • Respond to program leaders’ online training questions via email, and troubleshoot any issues they may be having with the learning management system
  • Meet daily with Program Staffing Coordinator to provide updates and status reports

Job Qualifications

  • Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university, or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years experience in hiring large volumes of employees, organizing data, and managing an applicant tracking system and/or learning management system.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of the program leader experience and Rustic Pathways Operations.
  • Proven ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Self-propelled
  • Detail oriented
  • Proven history of managing complex databases, systems, and workflows with a high degree of organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, Small Improvements,  Jazz applicant tracking system and Litmos learning management system.
