Rustic Pathways is hiring a Community Impact Manager for Thailand. The Community Impact Manager coordinates and manages all aspects of the community projects Rustic Pathways supports and champions wider sustainable travel initiatives within. This position reports directly to the Country Director and indirectly to both the Rustic Pathways Foundation Executive Director and the Vice President of Program Operations.
The Community Impact Manager is responsible for managing Rustic Pathways community partnerships, collaborating with partners to identify, implement, and evaluate development projects supported by our student community service programs. The Manager is also responsible for creating support materials for program leaders and students, managing community development initiatives funded by the Rustic Pathways Foundation, and implementing sustainable and responsible travel initiatives at the country level. This position collaborates directly with a network of Community Impact Managers globally to scale best practices and elevate Rustic Pathways’ community impact.
Develop and manage community partnerships and projects supported by community service programming in line with global guidelines.
Develop medium and long term service plans through needs assessments and extensive engagement with community partners.
Collaborate closely with the Country Director and Program Managers to coordinate logistics for student programs and provide training and support on best practices.
Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of projects and regular site visits. Submit quarterly reports on projects and sustainability.
Provide regular project updates to variety of audiences.
Develop materials to support student learning and program leader training.
Establish new partnerships and projects to support growth of programming in the country.
Implement sustainable and responsible travel initiatives to achieve annual performance targets and ensure adherence to global policies at the country level.
Manage projects funded by the Rustic Pathways Foundation, including collaborating with partners on proposals and overseeing implementation and reporting.
Collaborate with the global team of Community Impact Managers to support global initiatives and projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned and required.
Experience - At least 2-3 years of work experience in community development with
communities specifically in the Thailand
Education - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, specialization in
development or related fields preferred. Depending on country-specific context, other
appropriate education or work experience accepted.

Fluency in written and spoken Thai and English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Strong time management, budgeting, and organization skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in fast paced environment.
Eager to learn from colleagues and enjoys open collaboration and teamwork.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required.
Internal travel may be required 30% or more of the time; some international travel may be required.
