Temporary Outside Sales Coordinator

The Position

Rustic Pathways is looking for a temporary, 2-month Outside Sales Coordinator for the New Jersey/Pennsylvania territory. The assignment will begin September 5, 2017 and end on October 27, 2017. The Outside Sales Coordinator is responsible for the total outreach and net sign ups in a given geographic territory, which involves constant travel on the road or based in a large city visiting peripheral areas. Their goals are to plan and book their route in partnership with their regional team, seek new clients, meet formally with current and prospective clients, and distribute literature.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional presentations, generate leads, and distribute literature about Rustic Pathways’ offerings at schools, fairs, conventions, home visits, and open houses
  • Represent the company as respectful and knowledgeable ambassadors of our teams around the world
  • Generate sales and find new opportunities for growth
  • Maintain and develop a sales region and portfolio of schools, organizations, and contacts
  • Regularly participate in initiatives and activities of other sales teams including inside sales, personal travel advisors, gap year, groups, and human resources
  • Other duties as reasonably assigned

What we look for:

  • 1-3 years of experience leading RP programs for open enrollment, groups, or gap year.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred in a sales environment or experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for student travel (and you love telling everyone you know about it!)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience with some college.

This is a temporary assignment that will begin September 5, 2017, and end on October 27, 2017.
